Did you know that a horse kicked off the movie industry? Well in 1872, when a guy bet $25,000 that a horse some times has all 4 hooves off the ground when walking, he got some other guy to proove it for him.

It was always agreed that a galloping horse kept at least one hoof on the ground. But in 1872, Californian governor and railroad tycoon Leland Stanford, who was a race horse owner, took a bet for $25,000 (the equivalent of $500,000 today) that all four hooves sometimes leave the ground. He hired English photographer Eadweard Muybridge to capture the movement of horses to prove his point.

But Standford to wait 5 years for the results. Muybridge, an eccentric persona, was hiding in South America after being blamed for the death of his wife’s lover. On his return to the US in 1877, Muybridge set up 12 cameras at the Sacramento racetrack to photograph a galloping horse. He stuck the images on a rotating disc and shone a light through them. Not only did it prove that a galloping horse sometimes has all fours off the ground, but the photographic technique became the basis for the movie camera.

When's spongebobs b-day?

I know the EXACT date of his birth. In one of the episode, he has a dream he gets his license and the license shows all his information about his birth and area of birth. His birthday says July 14,1986 which means he is 24 years old now. But he acts like a kid. The show wants kids to think he is a kid but he is really an adult, but doesnt act like one. This is his official birthday, so he is 24 years old.

My dog, Jane, always seems to smile when i come home from school,but not as much as in the above pics.

She also looks the same way when shes panting too, but its really easy to tell the difference in weather shes happy or tired bcuz when shes tired shes usually thirsty and wants to lay down, and when shes happy shes wagging her tail and jumping all over the place!
